OUR MISSION
Webster Montessori School is a children's center accredited by Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) that provides education and care in a safe nurturing environment that engages children's inquisitive minds.
Our mission is to deliver a comprehensive program of education where the uniqueness of each child is understood and valued and in which the children’s emotional, intellectual, physical, and social development is supported in a nurturing and academically challenging Montessori environment.
WHO WE ARE
Webster Montessori School is a non-profit, private school and children’s center providing both education and care while engaging a child’s inquisitive mind in a safe and nurturing environment.
The Montessori philosophy allows children to enhance and develop their innate joy of learning, self-motivation, discipline, and drive. Students and Families alike benefit from the strong classroom environment, year-round quality care, educational opportunities, and enthusiastic support from our dedicated faculty and staff.
Webster Montessori School's before and after school program for children is referred to as Wrap-around. The Wrap-around Program provides a safe and stimulating environment of extended care for Webster Montessori School students. Wrap-around is also provided in the Summer and is referred to as the Summer Program.
Webster Montessori School is a close-knit and diverse community of students, families, and staff. As part of our community, we provide family education opportunities and hold social events to support families and students outside of the classroom environment. We enroll children from eighteen months to twelve years of age of any gender, gender identity, gender expression, race, color, creed, national or ethnic origin, and sexual orientation.
Incorporated under the laws of the State of New York, Webster Montessori School is a non-profit and secular organization chartered by the New York State Board of Regents. We are a member of and accredited by AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) and are committed to upholding the distinct philosophical and operational characteristics of the Montessori Method of Education.
